ABOUT US

We always make things beautiful

Cotswold Wedding Photography

It’s always an honour to be asked to capture someone’s perfect day and I’ve been a creator of storybook wedding images for some 15 years now. I’ve got an eye for a unique take on a shot and coming from a commercial and fashion background, I’ll aways look to create a truly bespoke set of images that encapsulates the essence of your day whilst ensuring that of course, all those big moments are in the bag as well.

What to expect.

Working as a photographer in the Cotswolds is great.

Starting early

Usually, my time with a couple starts at the very beginning (a very good place to start, so I’m told), in the morning, with the bridal preparations, venue images, and groomsmen if they are nearby – creating some stunning details shots, documenting the morning as it unfolds from flower deliveries & present unwrapping to first bubbles toasted with the girls (and guys too!)

The important bit

Whether your service is at a church, registry office or in the middle of a field, I’ll work with the Vicar, registrar or ordained to ensure I do the running around but keep out the way of this bit as much as possible (unless you want me front and centre!) so you can ignore me and get on with the business of getting married!

Afterwards, we can do group shots (or not) and we can spend just a little bit of time with just us so you get some time to yourselves while I take some beautiful couple shots together.

Candid Camera

I usually take shots of everyone at the tables or trestles when it comes to your reception do along with documenting the speeches and capturing a whole host of candid, documentary-style imagery during the day.

If you’re having a first dance I’m there for you and I’ll even stay and party along for a while to capture some of the evening ambience, then I’m out of your hair so you can enjoy the rest of the night before it gets, shall we say “too messy”!

Most couples get a bit of anxiety about photography becoming intrusive which I completely understand and whilst it’s a balancing act to capture all those magic moments but not get in the way too much, all my couples would testify that I usually end up more like one of the wedding party than “the odd one out who sticks out like a sore thumb” I do my best to engage with people, help people and laugh with people, it makes the day feel smoother and it relaxes everyone in front of the camera – I’m here to get the best results for you and the best way to do that is to work with you!

Stef's Story

Always provide an extraordinary concept

I think the first thing most couples ask me is “what’s your favourite bit of a wedding day then or have you seen so many now?!” To which I reply that “do you know what, every wedding is different in its own way so actually my favourite part of capturing someone’s perfect day can be anything from the hilarious moment a groomsman nearly tripped into the cake (I say nearly as of course it would have been horrific if he actually had!) to the most heartfelt tear inducing speech delivered by the groom, to the moment a father sees her daughter all grown up and ready to fly the nest for the first time in her full bridal getup.

Thank you Stef
